Water damage marred the floors, making the entry to the room uninviting. Kitchen utensils were lacking, with just one fork available for cooking, prompting a trip to buy essentials. The cleanliness standards fell far below expectations, with dirty showers and stained towels. The entry door was troublesome, making it hard to open or keep closed, and the persistent light from the patio made sleeping difficult.

The Family Studio was super comfy with freshly painted walls and great AC. The fridge was spotless, which was awesome! But, the layout felt a bit crammed and the outdated decor didn't do it for me. I wished for a touch of modern charm instead, but the cleanliness helped balance things out.

during my recent stay, I loved how close I was to Boggy Bayou, just a few minutes away, which made for a lovely stroll, and I really appreciated having easy access to the beautiful Matagorda Island Wildlife Management Area for some peaceful park views.
